"Older man declare war. But it is youth that must fight and die" - Herbert Hoover

This frase given by the President of the United States Herbert Hoover shows his understanding of war. Hoover worked as a humanitarian during the Great War with an organization which seeked to aid the people suffering from hunger. His sentence, as simple as it may sound demonstrates how wars are fought by young adults, most which die despite having an entire life ahead of them.

This image above shows one of the trenches in which many soldiers fought throughout the war. This trenchline is part of the strategie used during the war. Many of the brave young soldiers fought and died here defending their country.
